The Old Royal Oak is a lovely old pub set on the outskirts of Leek town centre. We have a very large car park to the rear and a large beer garden. To the front of the pub we have picnic tables so you can enjoy your pint at the front as well. The inside of the Old Royal Oak is furnished in keeping with the age and character of the building and provides lounge area seating, the bar area and further seating in the middle and a large games room for pool and darts at the other end. Our MissionProviding a cheerful atmosphere that can be enjoyed by all in a clean and fresh environment.
Our GoalWe aim to provide both Real Ales and Keg Ales and lagers. Our Real Ale offering is expanding every month as we get better known. We hope to have the Cask Marque in the near future and become well know in CAMRA circles for a good pint.
Company ProfileThe Old Royal Oak provides a selection of beers and spirits from the Marston's Brewery and Scottish & Newcastle stables together with guest ales at selected times of the year. We are a family and dog friendly pub and have areas both inside and out for those who wish to have enjoy a drink. During the summer months we have regular bar-b-que afternoons and evenings. We have two pool tables, darts board and various pub games available for use. Outside to the rear we have benches to enjoy the British weather on. To the front we have benches to further enjoy the atmosphere. In the near future we hope to provide a children's play area as well. Our car park is large and will accommodate a number of vehicles, but we do ask you to consider your responsibilities as a driver. The Old Royal Oak is known for it's Pool, 9-Ball and Darts teams and its policy for encouraging youngsters to develop their skills. We are a friendly pub and provide a welcome to all. If you enjoy your visit then we are happy. If you don't then we ask you tell us and we will take steps to rectify the problem if possible. We understand, only too well, how difficult it is to simply go out for a quiet drink without being expected to spend a fortune on food, especially if you have a family or dogs. Colin Williams, the landlord, is also a member of the BII (British Institute of InnKeepers).
